People of Pafos
Pafos is really a wonderful place to visit or even live, but I believe it is the people of Pafos that make this little coastal town what it is. You will find that the local people are friendly and very welcoming.
It is not uncommon to be invited into their homes for a coffee or even a meal or for a restaurant owner to come sit with you at the end of a meal to have a coffee with you and exchange a few words.
This to me is the charm of Pafos, the fact that people are eager to help out when help is needed, to exchange a friendly good morning. This is more apparent in smaller villages but you do still find it in downtown Pafos.
So the next time someone says KALIMERA to you while you walk down the street, just say KALIMERA back, it means good morning.
