Pafos Marathon

Cyprus Marathon is an annual event that is now recognized as the major road race in Cyprus.  Run in the historic city of Pafos and finish strong at the Pafos Mediaeval Fort square!

Join hundreds of participants next year for the 2012 Cyprus Marathon, Half Marathon & 10 km (Sunday 11th March 2012), the oldest and best city marathon in all of Cyprus!

The Cyprus Marathon hosts over 500 runners and hundreds of cheering spectators each year, giving runners from around the world the opportunity to run under Cyprus winter sun and have fun. All participants will receive a souvenir T-shirt and a finisher’s medal. Trophies will be awarded in 50 different age group categories. The entertainment activity programme will include a dancing group who will perform both Greek / Cypriot folk dance and invite runners and spectators to join in. 

The Marathon course will start from Petra tou Romiou (Birthplace of Aphrodite goddess of love and beauty) and finish at the Pafos Mediaeval Fort Square. The Half Marathon and 10 km Road Race will start and finish at the Pafos Mediaeval Fort Square nearby the Pafos fishing harbour.
